What was your first vinyl purchase?

We used to be able to buy ex-jukebox singles. The centre was missing from the disk, but you could get a filler piece for them.

I remember those (and still have a few kept "just i case")

I was into electronics and I made my own record player.

The first 'proper' vinyl I bought was John Mayall and the Blues breakers 'The Beano' album.
