What Weather Effect has on your health

There's another forum- not specifically for seniors- which, for a long time, had two members ( a couple that posted regularly). Turned out neither of these members were real people- just some scammer posing as both. It sure fooled me!!

Not saying this is the case with OP, just a thought.
I remember that. Forgot the details of where, who, but I remember that. Refuge I think it was.

OP was written at one oh five. Reply from roomie at one oh six. Got this crazy picture in my mind of the two of you sitting in your living room typing together. Am I wrong? Same room or different rooms for 1:05 and 1:06? Just very curious.

guess I enjoy minutia.
Many of posts i'm yourpal said that his roommate (which is myself ) post together..
What does this have to do with topic I don't know. Was there a problem that we do this?
Also if you noticed HollyDolly and Janice M was 12:07 & 12:08 what did it matter? That doesn't mean they were in the same room as us.

Why does it feel like we're being attacked in some of our posts?
Now this is getting to the point where I'm afraid I don't stay where I don't feel comfortable..
I will post here until this weekend and then I will leave..

And to let you know i'myourpal is vision impaired and hard of hearing.. We've been posting together off and on for 18 yrs.
I dictate his posts for him. He wanted to join a forum where he didn't feel he had to keep telling people about his vision or hearing.
And we just wanted to make new friends to talk with off the board. But no pm boxes.
But yet to no success.

I will post and quit this Sunday.. I'll just put in posts for you to answer but won't answer anymore.
Sorry it had to be this way.

I suffer from S.A.D as well. It's horrible, and I try to combat it by going outside as long as I can during the day. Winter time is the worst where I live so I try different things to alleviate it, like being outside in daytime, etc.
Winter is bad for me too. I put all of my lights on. I take an antidepressant, too. All the best to you in dealing with it.

Yes, winter is a losing battle. Vitamin D, two expensive SAD lights, and it's still difficult.

And as far as I can tell, it affects my weight too. When I moved to Mexico, the excess pounds quickly melted off. On moving back to Canada 3 years later, I quickly gained it all back.

I guess I have reverse SAD: the cooler and colder (preferably colder) and wetter it is, the better I feel. I always put on weight and get depressed in the summer. (I just wish I lived somewhere that didn't have about 9 or 10 months of summer, sigh.)

I, too, actually prefer the cooler temperatures to an extent. I don't like when It's extremely cold, like below 30 degrees f but I have SAD and it's the gray skies that get me down when they go on for a long time. I guess I'm a bit strange...lol

Yes, weather affects me a lot. When it's cold I have to wear more clothing and when it's hot less. And generally I feel more energetic when it's cold. Hot not so much.
