What were your favorite cartoons and kid movies?

Great show in the '50s on ABC. You could also watch "Father Knows Best" on CBS, then NBC. We had 3 whole channels then. Who says we didn't have it made???

Right, and I get one channel that even now still reruns Andy Griffith.
I know that's the 60's, but when we look back that far, it's all good compared to much of what we get now.

By the time the time my family could afford a TV, I was getting too old for kid stuff. I just liked adult programming. I did on occasion go with my mother to watch TV with our neighbor before that. That lady would dress up in Sunday finest with lipstick. Because the people on TV were watching her. Lot of people did that. Radio was different. You couldn't see them, they couldn't see you. My mother later explained this to me. She knew better.
