But, but... How do the fish feel? Did someone poll (pole) the fish to get their take on the name change? I bet not! Being referred to as "Asian" simply defined the heritage of this species of fish. I would think the fish were okay with that, as one would guess that species of carp would win all the fish spelling bees, mathematics medals, etc. Now, these poor swimmers are baited into being called "invasive". Why, that's a slap in the gills if I ever saw one. "Invasive"!!???!!! This makes them sound like something slimey that would steal every nightcrawler right out of your backyard. This is a blow to the emotional well being of fish across the globe! Sounds like the Minnesota politicians have fallen for this story hook, line, and sinker.:D
