What words are gone from the past?

I sometimes think I'm on another planet, because I'm totally lost with a lot of todays words, whereas, when I meet up with others in my age group I'm sane again. Nevertheless, todays youngsters are tomorrows oldies, and they will wonder what the heck their offspings are talking about.

We still use those words in the US, but now they have a different meaning... especially "Karen".

that's what I was saying. All those words are still in their original use but they're also used to mean something else entirely ?.. Why couldn't there be some kind of law that disallows words which are already in use from being used to mean something entirely different ?
