What would you fight and possibly die to protect?

Besides my son/grandson? I know what I would fight for, not sure what's worth dying for. Excellent question, Gaer. (as usual)

I hope I wouldn't be willing to die for a lot of the list. As a kid I remember religious education having stories where the heroic person was the one who preferred to die than to break some religious practice. So as a very young adult I might have been willing to die for something as ridiculous as that. But as an old person, religion is totally off the table as something to die for. And although I would be upset about loss of freedom & justice etc, I see that many humans all over the planet (and even in my own USA) don't have it but I applaud them staying alive and 'working toward' a better world. Better to live to fight another day I guess.

My lucky snooker cue, that piece of ash has won me pints of beer galore for a long time. No-one gets to hold it never mind use it. Going for a game tonight. :)
