What would you hate to notice ...

.

That I didn't bring my key and/or cell phone.

I would hate to notice back of my skirt was tucked into my knickers, especially if I’d been walking round town .....

:eek:ops1:

Fire engines headed for your street when you were a mile or two from your house.

Uh, yeah
During fire season, when the woods are tinder dry, and we’re comin’ from town, and I see a smoke filled sky that appears near our cabin, I tend to press the throttle a bit, turning that fifty mile drive to a 30 minute dash

Oh, and one time I noticed, while in the grocery line, I hadn’t brought my wallet
Turns out, just telling cashiers about the money I had didn’t quite cut it

A comely bank teller couldn’t quit smiling at me

Thought, ‘heh, still got it’

Got back to the jeep to check my own self out

Had a string of chili and cheese in my mustache

We just have too much reliance upon your phones these days. Just before I walk out of the door, do I have keys, phone, purse, etc. But, sometimes, I did just leave my water, or something at home.

I also hate, really hate noticing something on my body that wasn't there before. Something like a new bruise, wart, etc. Knowing how to recognize signs that indicate a doctor's visit would be wise is good.

I have an old sweater I wear when my bird is out and sitting on my shoulder. I call it my poop sweater. I would hate to be out some place and notice I still have the poop sweater on. It has happened.

I was at my son’s school and the radio was playing when they announced a plane crash. Then I noticed the address they gave. It was my house. I rushed home. The crash was actually one street over. Then I had to walk to my other kids school and get my other two kids, so they avoided seeing the horror of it.

Unfortunately there were body parts throughout the neighborhood. It was a commuter (?) plane and it crashed near our church. The priest gave last rites to everything he could find. This was probably thirty years ago.
