It's been said that what we focus on grows, this could be a talent, a love or hobby or - bad stuff like a serious problem or illness, pain, or a bad relationship that saps your energy. While what we ignore diminishes until it disappears entirely. Do you agree or disagree with this and do you have an example that made you feel this way and why?
Something negative happened to me months ago that I didn't feel like coping with at the time because I felt somewhat overwhelmed by certain responsibilities and just needed a break. There were too many demands on me all at once. So I ignored the negative thing and continued to ignore it and it did disappear from my life which astonishes me. It's the only time I can remember doing anything like this. But the problem did just disappear. Has anything similar ever happened to you?
Maybe we are masters of our own reality? At least up to a point?
