What's for dinner ( or lunch )

I had Sunday lunch courtesy of my kind neighbours... again.....🥰

the man of the house brought it round, accompanied by his youngest daughter age 3... always one or more of the kids come, but today just the little one, who insisted she cooked this herself...lol

On the very large plate is.. Pork chop... mashed potato, Red pepper filled with Sauerkraut... home made pickles... Cauliflower... Belly pork rasher, and Romanian sausages..

Just half hour before I'd had banana on toast because I had no idea they were coming round.... so I could only eat a little of the meal... the rest is in the fridge for tomorrow

Nice neighbors! At least you won't have to cook tomorrow.

Sounds good! I've been wanting to buy a rotisserie chicken and make chicken salad with it. Have you tried that? I hear it makes a good chicken salad. I never bake a whole chicken anymore. It's just as cheap and cost effective to buy one at the store (preferably Sams Club).

I haven't done that, but they have chicken salad ready made from a rotisserie chicken. It's very expensive, but tasty. If I splurge on one pound, I can make it last three days. :)
