What's for dinner ( or lunch )

Didn't sleep too well after spending Wednesday evening while considering making a mentally draining dawn trip to the Sierra to ski fresh cold snow as a storm waned. But no, was not enough new depth to make me want to pull the trigger for a 3 hour drive and then the challenge of not being cold being outside several hours during dim, light to moderate snow showers at breezy 24F temps.

As usual no breakfast this morning and a yogurt for lunch. Late this afternoon mic'd about 8 ounces of Walmart Broccoli Cheddar Soup that is nearly as good as what I used to get from Safeways. Then on this mini binge day, some whole milk washing down butterscotch baking chips and peanut butter chocolates. Also for more cheesy dessert, mic'd some Aged Gouda Cheese bit mixed with cheap cheddar cheese bits atop a plate with salt.
 
Today while I was out I got a hot Sausage roll for lunch and ate it sitting with a bottle of water on a bench...next to this waterfall..

Tonight my neighbours who had company and were BBQ'ing.. brought me round this platter of meats and cake for dinner...Steak, Pork belly, Chicken , sausages, hot bread roll... garlic mayonaise, Mixed olives salad... ..and 2 cakes
