What's for dinner ( or lunch )

Today for lunch I had Duck spring rolls.. I was eating on the go....

Tonight I had an open salad sandwich, just baby lettuce leaves, sliced tomato and red grapes.. and a sprinkling of grated cheese.

$3.43 at Walmart, Healthy Choice, 9.5 ounce frozen package of Southwest-Style Chicken Burrito Bowl. Contains several different vegetables and rice. Like the way they use a "sauce bowl" while microwaving.
 
Was exhausted from so much food prep yesterday that I could only muster up enough energy to smear some tomato sauce that was languishing in my fridge onto a whole wheat pita, heat it in the toaster oven for 8 minutes, then top it with salad and called it dinner. Dessert: apple and strawberry slices.

As a teen I used to love to have a slice of bread just smeared with tomato ketchup... sometimes it was all there was to eat..but I liked it anyway..... I went off it at some point, a very long time ago... barely ever eat Ketchup now....

I use tomato sauce, as in pasta or pizza sauce. Salad pizza is becoming popular, but most don't put tomato sauce on it or add the toppings to a hot crust. Most recipes call for piling salad onto a baked, but cooled pizza crust.

Like you, I liked ketchup a lot better in younger years.
