What's happening with your eyebrows?

Ulta had the regular size of the Grande Brows that you have to order since none of the local stores had it in stock.

Amazon had a trial size & regular size. I'm going to order the trial size & see how it works for me.

My entire life I've been obsessed by eyebrows, to the point that I used to doodle perfect ones constantly. This is bc my right brow had a mole on it w/ ugly stiff hair growing out of it, which I had removed at 16. And my left brow was wiped out in a childhood accident where I fell down a flight of stairs and landed face first on a metal toolbox. Luckily, my eye remained intact, but I have a slight scar on the brow from which hair stopped growing. I use pencil, which I've been using all my life due to the situation.

Cool. It only takes me a few seconds to apply the brow pencil. My brows are so skimpy now.
My brows are still fairly thick so I just brush them and train them to grow upwards.,If I’m going somewhere special I use mascara on them.,That thickens them AND darkens them at the same time..

Ty for your reply! I was also in an accident and my brows were effected. I ran into the corner of a Ford station wagon when I was around 8, 9. I didn't get stitches but have a scar on my left brow and it's a bit hard to put the eye pencil and powder on. I've gotten pretty quick about putting on the eyebrow pencil...

One thing I’ve wondered about is taking collagen and the raves about hair and brows thickening. If this works, does it also help grow that darn facial hair that seems to have special powers to fill in wherever and when it wants.

I've been taking a collagen powder everyday in my coffee for the past 4 years to see if it would help with my knees. I noticed after the third month or so, that my hair had more body, grew a little better & was over all healthier. I wish it would have stimulated more hair growth in a couple areas on my scalp, but it hasn't & nothing for the brows.

I wish I would have known about this some years ago after I had pancreatitis because my hair took a real hit. I tried all of the things that was supposed to grow & help your hair, but nothing worked & I gave up looking.

Im 61, norwegian and italian in heritage and have never dyed, bleached or permed my naturally curly, almost black hair. Im very fortunate that I have very few gray hairs on my head yet (a few around my face and ears) but my eyebrows have been thinning and going gray for years. I have black eyebrows, so it really shows. I dye them with "just for men facial hair dye"; and in between, I use mascara on my eyebrows because it not only colors but holds those unruly gray ones down and in place. It comes off easily with a baby wipe. I do often trim my eyebrows with a small scissor as they grow long fast, but are much thinner than they used to be.

Speaking of eyebrows....

I see it mostly with senior men but what in the heck is it with getting old and letting your eyebrows grow long ?

I get a haircut once a month (short old school burr / buzz cut) and I always get my eyebrows trimmed.....the gal that cuts my hair said that she has asked several older gents, with out of control eyebrows, if they'd like them trimmed and most say no.

Could they be seen as lending character to an older gentleman's face, even wisdom, kindness, knowledge, thoughtfulness? šŸ˜„

I have a scar through my left eyebrow too. I forget how it happened.
