Our main pantry is a cold room, in one corner of the basement. Home-canned peaches, cherries, and pickles, tomato sauce, and hot sauce. Dried pears. Home-grown potatoes, carrots, and beets. Also various store-bought items: coffee beans, chipotle sauce, olive oil, and noodles... plus rice, dried beans, etc that we keep in crocks, and a large container or two of yogurt (there's always one up in the fridge). And so on.
