What's More Exciting..Your Waking Life or Dream Life?

I realize that the pandemic lock downs could affect your answer but if you want to refer back to pre-pandemic life to answer, that's fine. My dream life is pretty active and social. I'm always going someplace, sometimes at gatherings, sometimes on trips. I'm often around groups of people...some I know and some I don't. I think my dreams are more exciting now and possibly were before the pandemic as well.

This may be lives in parallel universes. travels to other worlds, glimpses of the heavens; but the dreams are much more fulfilling!

Yep, the dreams I remember. Some are so vivid I remember them for weeks. I guess because my waking life is very mundane and routine, I make up unconscious excitement.

Seems lately my dreams are all about searching for something . . . Perhaps as Diogenes carrying a lantern and searching for an honest man...

I think of my dreams as being more quirky than exciting. There are things that have happened in my dreams that I'd love to have happen in real life. However none of the top 10 exciting things that I've lived have ever appeared in my dreams before they happened and only one or two have hit my dream life.

I, honestly, don't have a "dream life". The last 15 years of my career, I spent over 2,000 nights in hotels. Learned to sleep and sleep hard through the sounds of diesel engines, drunks in the hallways, etc. Every once in a while I will have a dream, but usually don't even remember what it was when I wake. To bed about 10 p.m. Drop into a deep sleep immediately. (Sometimes my wife says she has to check and see if I'm breathing!) Wide awake between 4 and 5 a.m. ready to meet the day.
