What's the fanciest place you've ever been?

Probably a suite in the King George Hotel in Athens. I worked for an upscale travel provider who used the property and our tour division put me in touch with the General Manager. He upgraded us and we were treated like royalty. Nothing like watching the lights of the Acropolis while dining on their rooftop terrace.

Close second... Hotel Arts Barcelona. Stayed there for a conference. There were so many buttons on the wall I couldn't figure out how to raise/lower the window shades!

Lovely. To see the Acropolis over the modern buildings was awesome for me. I paused the vid just to stare at it.

The official residence of the Canadian Govenor General in Ottawa. Rideau Hall is located on Sussex Drive, close to the official residence of the Prime Minister at 21 Sussex. I was there as the driver for the Colonel of my Canadian Forces Regiment, when he was awarded a Companion of the Order of Canada medal. here is a link about Rideau Hall. Rideau Hall Interior - Bing

Me 3. I was surprised at the prices with it being in NYC. For being the well-known place it is and has been visited by so many celebrities and others, I thought they were very reasonable and the food was very good.

The fanciest place I ever visited would be hard to choose just one. The White House was very nice, but I have been to a few more that would probably win out over the WH.
