What's the oldest age someone in your family has lived to?

96.. and he was run over by a bus when walking to the pub for his daily whisky ...truth !

My father's mother, Grandma Annie, lived to be over 100, which was a surprise, as she was sickly for decades and a former heavy smoker. Her son, my dad, only made it to 65.....

My father who lived to 93. He had a stroke while working in his garage fixing a carburetor. He died 3 weeks later.

The oldest person in my family (so far!) died a year ago this month and she was 101. I say "so far" because I have an uncle now who is 98 and doing very well.

My mom's brother - 76 I am fast closing in on that. He is the only one who suffered from Dementia in the family.

In my immediate family, it's me. I'm not sure how old my grandfather was when he died, but it might be close to where I am. My mother's side was hit hard by cancer, most died very early.

I have a brother who is 81 right now, he is at an older age than my parents or grand parents ever reached. My family has always lived hard and died young.
