What's the oldest thing in your wardrobe that you still wear sometimes

I occasionally wear a NY Knicks jacket, a gift for my birthday in 1987. I will only wear it to a game at Madison Square Garden.

The oldest item in my closet is my 1968 #82 high school football jersey. I’m never going to part with it. Worn during our perfect season, 0-12.

Funny question in so far as I tend to store clothes for tomorrow. Which can be 5 or 10 years ago. I still have t-shirts from Hawaii that I haven't worn yet. Shoes likewise. "My stash" as they say. No jeans, socks, shoes or shirts are worth a pituty until they have been worn, wash and reused at least 6 times. Then they become my wardrobe. Solid, consistent, comfortable. What more could a man want??:)

I’m not sure but I doubt I have anything older than 4-5 years. I read that most people only wear 20 percent of what they own. When I moved into my condo with 3 closets and my son was using half of one I decided it was a good time to downsize my clothes.

I use half of one closet that has double rods. I also have a dresser. That doesn’t include the few coats I own. I figured why not just keep the 20 percent of my closet that I actually wear. We have a mild 4 seasons so I might need more if I lived in a climate with more extreme weather.

I have a long sleeve t-shirt that a deceased family member gave me. I wear it on special occasions from time to time.
