What's your favorite color? Why is it your favorite color?

I've loved Red all my life until a few years ago.. and suddenly for clothing at least I've gone off it.. I kinda think red shades don't suit me it at this age...

I love Certain shades of Blue particularly royal blue, but my favourite is Lemon...I like it on the walls in my house I like it in the garden, and I like it in clothing...

here I am a few years ago in lemon...

Reminds me of that period when our color choices were driven by whether we were a Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter.

What's your favorite? Why?
I love teal, kind of like the boat in my avatar. My old Jeep is a teal color. I love nature colors in general, and teal is also the color on the male mallard ducks.
Yep

Been my favorite for a very long time

But the sky yields so many many tones
Makes it very hard for me to pick just one

This mountain cabin has me spoiled, it truly has

There is absolutely nothing like nature.

I've been fishing in the Shenandoah river in the pre-dawn hours. You wade in up to your chest, the mist is 10 feet above your head, you can't see a thing but you cast anyway, and then the sun comes up and slowly burns the fog away.

Fishing begets many a blessed moment
Nature jus' can't help it.
The sounds resonate with the ripple to pool
The flavors in the air of miry clay and sodden moss on rounded rocks
The trees, whispering in the shadows of the breeze

Sure, hooking into a hawg is fun, but I've had many a trip without a hit, but no regrets
Always a calming sedative, yet a subtle pleasure that says 'I'm glad to be alive!'
...….only nature can provide this for me...yessir

My best outdoor time has been fishing.

I used to have a belly boat, like this one:

There is nothing like being down at water level and having a bass take your top-water lure.

think when your blonde red is good colour but not to much in one go --
and I love black too -hides all my bumps ---and always smart anytime /

yes I'm blonde...and I suited red up until a few years ago when I had a Tan, but since I moved back to the UK and I'm back to being English rose colour I don't seem to suit it so much..... I found when my hair was darker I suited it better tvbh..

here's me in all red... a few years ago same period as the lemon dress when we were living abroad.. ( I was in my 50's then)

This is more recent without a tan and taken here in the uk in winter , I find that as you say @toffee , it's best now just to wear red in small doses.. as I've got into my 60's I think it looks quite harsh on me..

My favorite color is yellow, really any shade, from the dusty yellow all the way through to bright lemon yellow. It doesn't suit me as well now in clothing as it used to. But it's still my favorite color.

Why? Because it's the happiest color!!

A bloke once tried snatching my Mam's handbag, I grabbed him and then walloped him in the eye, which quickly went a funny shade of greeny-purpley-black. No idea what the colour is called, I just call it 'bruisey'.

Just mentioning purple flowers and yesterday, I spied these babies growing in our drive. :) They must have a strong will to live because last year, we put down plastic, then some clay dirt, then gravel in this feature and decided fake flowers were best for it. Somehow, these purple ones managed to get through all of that just to bloom and please me. :D
Can someone please tell me what kind of flower they are.
