What's Your Favorite Movie

Not in my top 3 list, but My Cousin Vinny never fails to crack me up. Once while watching (around my 3d or 4th viewing) I was drinking a soda and worried I'd choke on it when I laughed, but reasoned I wouldn't laugh since I'd already seen it so many times--but of course, when it got to the "yout" part I cracked up, sending the soda up and down my nostrils.
That part cracked me up, especially Fred Gwynne's facial expressions. I also like when Marisa was upset about her biological tock ticking.

Yes, @Marquest West Side Story. I know every line of every song and the spoken dialogue. So excellent. Leonard Bernstein ❤️

Had big crush on George Chakiris!
AND
Rita Moreno a frequent customer of my dad!
oh my gosh, lovelovelove this scene! I watch it often... Rita Moreno--"you forget *I'm* in America!" hahaha... she's got chutzpah!!

I don't know how to narrow it down to one fave movie... so many great ones.

My Cousin Vinny is definitely on my rewatchable movies list.

The stuttering lawyer gets me every time! I wonder how many takes they had to do! The actor Austin Pendleton stuttered badly before getting into acting and does awareness work about it. The stuttering alone in the scene would not be that funny without his comedic timing and the expressions of the other actors in the scene. According to the actor who played Stan, they could not get a take without someone laughing. Even the director, a good friend of Pendleton, said he kept struggling not to make a sound during filming.

Other favorites are Casablanca, The Philadelphia Story, Moonstruck, The English Patient, Tombstone, Hoosiers, The Natural, Dr. Zhivago, and my favorite guilty pleasure rewatch which is Boys on the Side.

Did anyone ever see the movie “Retribution” with Liam Neeson? My female friend and I watched it on Roku. I thought it was a bit manipulative and a few parts far-fetched, but it was exciting, although it wasn’t very difficult to figure out the ending before it was over.

I'm not up to date on movies, but there are some movies from the past I could watch over and over. One of my favorite comedy's is "My Cousin Vinny". I couldn't tell you how many times I've watched it when I was wanting a good laugh. That movie never gets old to me.

I love My Cousin Vinny! Also a bit more serious, To Kill a Mockingbird.
