Love this series. It's silly, stupid, and by today's standards a little politically incorrect. But it's so much fun.

Yes, a British sit com that started in 1972. It is heavily based in theater known as farce. It's ridiculous, childlike, and simply classic.

I watched Cheers, Seinfeld and the rest but while funny, not my favs of all time.
That was such a great show!
I was afraid you were going to say there's too many to choose from..

I haven't had a favorite show in a long time... but when I was a teen, it was Emergency! (because of Randy Mantooth) and Here Come the Brides (because of Bobby Sherman.) Hey, what can I say... it was a quite unscientific (but very teenage girlish!) way to choose favorite shows.

those were two good shows.. television has changed so much since then... That's why all I watch now are movies on TCM

I wanted to be a cop for a while. In fact, I was accepted to the Police Academy in Phoenix, AZ. Problem was, I hated Phoenix, so we moved to Colorado.
I don't think I would have been a very good cop, though. With zero patience for dumb-assedness and being too quick with my fists, I was probly looking at getting suspensions, getting fired, and/or getting sued, if I didn't get shot first.

I don't want to be nosy, but I see you live in Virginia. Me too, many years ago, near DC. Are you mid, east or in the western part of the state? Northern VA? I have lived other places but Virginia was always my favorite, along with the Outer Banks, NC
