When did you notice you're old?

I noticed this old guy looking back in the mirror this morning. I'm 77, so I'm used to seeing me. But this morning, it was different. There was an old guy looking back at me. I know this sounds dumb, but I just noticed that I'm old. It hit home. It's not feeling 'young at heart', it's knowing you're old in your bones. You ARE your age. It may not be pleasant, but it is reality. When did you notice you're old?

The unfair part about becoming a senior is just how f/n feeble some of us become so early in life.
But then I just saw a young former great Offensive line Football player for the Hawkeyes died at 23
in his home soon & to be married and say how lucky are we to be alive every day that the pain isn't
so bad we wish we were dead! If ya get up amble about have a couple cups of coffee, morning brunch
bop out to your interesting sights, do your needful things, maybe hire some done. Well, thas lucky!
Sure, feel for those who pass before us and wish for more good luck? ..... 🤞

Early 2012 for me. Beyond that, not much in the way of memories or good times. Just slogging it out.

Looking in the Mirror only see me. For better or worse. Never think about being old. I just am. 79 here. Tipping into 80 come August.

When I had my 3rd ischemic stroke.

I have to remind all you folks that Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are both over 80.. and none of us think of them as being old... Mick Jagger is 80 years old in one weeks' time .. and still strutting his stuff in concert as he did in the 60's.. we don't think of him as being old...

...so get your groove on you guys in your 80's....age is but a number (unless you have a serious health condition)
