When does the closest shopping mall to you open in the morning?

Ours is usually 10, 11 on Sunday’s and holidays. Closes at 5 or 6, 9 on Friday. The stores can’t afford to pay staff for a few customers in slow hours.

The one a block away is a dead mall, not sure why it is still standing there are no stores in it. We suspect it is a big tax write off for someone. There were a couple of stores about 2 years ago, then they were evicted. Even the Lions charity was booted out.

I was surprised to discover that my local shopping centre opens at 10a.m., which seems very late. However, the small shops are open at 6:30....when people need to buy milk, bread and newspapers.

The mall closest to me closed years ago. It now houses government offices. The closest active mall is over an hour's drive and I have no idea when it opens or closes.

Our mall opens at 8AM, this is for our mall walkers. Many residents go there just to walk for exercise, so they don't have to be out in the weather, hot or cold. The actual stores open at 10AM.

My nearest shopping mall is open 9am - 6pm, but it doesn't have any mayor supermarkets. They tend to be on the edge of town and are open
usually 6am - 10pm and 8am-8pm on Sunday. Note that unlike England, Scotland doesn't have Sunday trading restrictions as such .

what time do the shops shut there then ?.. When I was growing up, no shops were open on Sundays at all in Scotland.. and not even pubs.. we had to go to a hotel to get a drink when we were teens..

The supermarkets here are only open 6 hours by law, on Sundays.. they can choose any 6 hours, say 10-4pm or 11-5pm etc... but the smaller express supermarkets like the Co-op are open from 7am until 10pm on Sundays.. makes little sense to me tbh...but the Malls are open 9am-9pm on Sundays

Mall is 10 am although the dollar store is 9:30. Walmart is 7 am.

People are still not shopping in the malls much and it isn't worth it for stores to open earlier if no one comes. I should be thankful as it used to be 11 am. Half my bloody day is gone!

I have no idea. The closest mall is about an hour away. It doesn't matter what time it opens. I never go there. I don't like malls. 🤪

A few that are within a 5 mile radius. More shopping is done online now so mall shopping is pretty much reduced to Dillard's Or Macy's.
