As long as you buy something, a small coffee is free. Here anyways. Ask if the coffee is free for seniors. Show your card.I never knew that and I have been a senior for quite some time.
One time we were in the store and the customer in front was buying alcohol... the cashier rung the bell saying she just had to get an ID check, the guy who was clearly of age said frustratedly, I'm 55 years old FGS.... and the cashier said '' no the ID is for ME, I'm too young to sell alcohol without a supervisors permission''.... lolApparently I have nothing to worry about yet
Get asked for ID/birth date every single time I purchase a six-pack of adult beverages

The Goodwill (thrift store) will not ask anymore if you qualify for the senior discount. You have to mention it yourself. 10% on Tuesday and Wednesday. Apparently someone got offended and made a complaint.I'm fortunate no-one has ever suggested that I might need a seniors discount for anything, in fact I often forget to ask for one.. altho' tbh on the odd occasion I have , no-one has questioned it much to my chagrin..lol.. but I'm not sure if that's because I look my age or it's because people are afraid now of being sued for offending...

It's usually 55 here but the one health food store who gives seniors a 10% discount daily, is 60.
how old are you Remy ( you don't have to say )...I had people at work asking me in my early 50's if I was going to retire. I think I look old for my age. When I was younger, I looked younger. People thought I was in junior high, not high school and I could get into movies for under 12 well into my teens. But things have caught up with me.
well 63 without being patronising.. is young as in young senior. It literally feels like last year to me when I was 63.. I've still got most of the same clothes and even 1/2 my shoes are still from back then.. I'm 68... and I know people say it all the time.. but it's absolutely true that once you get into your 60's times shoots by.@hollydolly I'm 63. I don't mind telling my age. For one reason is my mother never told hers. And I don't want to be like her.
Now. No, just now. Darn it, there it goes again. When have you noticed your age?
