I thought 40 was old. Now, I hear someone say they are 60 and think "Hell, I've got tee shirts that old!"

A billion years old?....in the words of Victor Meldrew ... I doo not belieeeeve it...

Ok ok. A wee bit of exaggeration. Learned it from him. Scots are famous for grossly exaggerating. He has a dresser with 4 drawers that are completely filled with tshirts. Half are designated as work tshirts because they are faded or frayed.

My oldest one is from 1995. Purchased at the top of a mountain in the Smokeys in TN and says 'I hiked it 1995'.

Hey, the Smokey Mountains! My daughter was 12 years old in 1972 when she and I hiked up to the top of Mt.LeConte. We saw a mother bear with two cubs who sent her cubs scurrying up a tree.

That was it! Mt. LeConte - 70th anniversary long-sleeve tshirt. On a different hike we saw a mother and cub on the trail in front of us. Scared me. But the bears were more afraid of us.

My husband forgot my last Birthday, he said it was my fault as I didn't look any older, he is a smart man and can't you tell he is of Irish Heritage.

I do have one item of clothing that I wore in my twenties and I still were the leather coat.
