Do you wake up with a bounce, eager to start the day? Is that the best time for you?

Is it relaxing by the TV or PC or book after the chores are done?

Is it a daily walk and chat with some friends along the way?

Shopping or Senior Center?

Maybe its suppertime, preparing and enjoying a meal and something good on TV?

What floats your boat on a usual daily basis?

Anytime I can spend a few hours in my daughters room that I turned into my special place with my crafts,Computer, books, photo albums and my new sewing machine is perfect for me. Usually on rainy or hot days or a few evenings after dinner. I can take just so much TV and CD's. If I were alone I probably would get rid of the TV altogether. Can't do it now, the hubby would go into withdrawal.

I guess it would be around the early evening around 6 PM. Dinner has been consumed and just

waiting for Alex Trebek to show up. Also looking forward to climbing in the sack and reading until

I fall asl...................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The best time of the day is late morning when I take my dog for a long walk at the dog park, I sometimes stop and chat with folks I know and pet some sweet dogs. Sometimes I take a walk alone in a woodsy area, and that's very enjoyable too. After all the chores, shopping and other things are over, evening is usually a nice time to either watch some TV or do what I like. Usually right before sleep I'll catch a short show with my husband, a comedy or something light, the TV is in the bedroom.

Best part of my day is first thing in the morning and last thing at night.
After tending to the fire I do my yoga. Then I bathe and take my dogs for their awesome walk. THIS is, by far, the very favourite part of my day. We try and go to as many different places as possible. It’s great exercise and a good family bonding experience.
Before bedtime I usually bathe again and watch tv, chat here or read. Sometimes do all three.
Of course sleeping is wonderful.

Yes I am one of those sickening people who bounce out of bed happy and full of energy. I’ve often been told I am far too happy. My response? No such thing!!!

Best time of day: When I'm on a jobsite at 8AM, the weather is cool, around 50 F and overcast, light breeze, and I have a great looking tree to climb and prune. Second best time of the day: I walk in the door, Noon(ish), after a tree job, tired but feeling good, my dog greets me, and we share a lunch on the couch, while watching something good on Netflix. Third best time of the day: It's 10PM, I'm in bed reading a great book, the gf and dog beside me.

I'm an early morning person.After I do my daily exercises for my knee,I take my early morning walk around 6:30-6:45 to get the papers{NYT/USAToday}
If I have no plans for the day, weather permitting I'll take a mid morning walk, after lunch, power nap,I'll take my last walk of the day.
After dinner,I'll do the NYT daily crossword puzzle on MOn&Tues, read my book.I usually go to bed around midnight M-F after watching MSNBC anchor,Brian Williams's show'The 11th Hour',long time fan of him Sue

At the beginning, and end of the day! The middle.....not so much.

Best time of day is right after I wake up, I have the whole day to do what ever I want.

The alternative to not getting up sucks.

Early mornings when I have some energy.

My day starts at about 2:00 am and is pretty much over by noon.

By afternoon I'm just too pooped to pop!

Aunt Bea, my I ask why do you get up at 2:00 am? Would that put you in the night owl category?
Nice Chuck Berry find, BTW!

During my working years, I used to get up around 4:00 am so it is not really a big change.

Maybe!

Tough one
But
There are two definite times of the day that run neck and neck in regard to best;
That first cup of coffee
Stepping out, sipping, watching nature take place

And
Our second sleep
To explain;
We have come into a habit of waking up during the wee hours of the morn
Stoke the fire
Get on the web until we get sleepy (usually around dawn)
….and trudge back to bed
That second sleep is a more conscious one
Turning to the cool side of the pillow
Nestling in to extreme comfort
Most times spooning
Cozy, involuntary smiles
Cognizant of drifting off
....drifting
....drifting
Into shallow, then deep, REM slumber

Waking whenever consciousness occurs

We learned to do this on weekends before retirement
Weekdays, this can only happen when retired or so wealthy someone else can go to work for you.

There are other, prized, magical times.
Like right after a project is finished to the point of satisfaction
Or the first few bites of an exceptional meal.
Or collapsing, deliriously exhausted after a mutual intimate zenith.

Those have a specialness apart from day to day bests, but surely compete in an overall scenario

Now, if a gun was held to my head, commanding I choose from my two common, daily favorites…

It’d be that first cup of joe
