Any of these fun foods?
Funnel cake
Animal crackers
Frozen custard (the real deal)
Candy apple
A lollipop
Something with whipped cream on it.

I keep Stauffers animal crackers in the house. They can be somewhat addictive. I keep whipped cream in the house and last had some two nights ago. I probably had a lollipop a couple of years ago. I haven't had funnel cake in several years and real frozen custard in decades. Both were sold on the N.J. shore boardwalks and amusement parks. Can't remember when I had a candy apple last.

Update: @RadishRose mentioned cotton candy. How could I have forgotten that?! It's been over a decade for me I'm sure. And I think the last time I had some, I bought it in bags for my grandchildren and me. it's fun to watch them twirl it onto the "stick" though.

Being honest, I've never really, you know, had Nora J from over the road, and I'm sure she'd beat the s**t out of me if I tried to cover her in whipped cream, but, oooooh, the thought of licking 5 gallon of the stuff off her is the stuff of dreams. :)

We will have whipped cream on something from time to time, especially if we go out to dinner and split a nice dessert. So that puts it back over a year ago at least.

Whipped cream works magic on my wife's butter nut rum cake which she used to make back in the days when we were still having company over for dinner.

Whipped cream/heavy cream is a regular event at my house. So much so that I purchased one of these cream whippers.

A box of Barnum's Animals is another fairly regular treat.

Of the OP's list, frozen custard is the one thing that interest me. As to the last time...too long! For us, it is a state fair food. The state fair was cancelled due to COVID last year, and it remains to be seen what this year brings.

I used to like caramel apples (is that toffee?)Never candy apples.

Never ate much fair or beach food; never ate a funnel cake nor frozen custard.

I loved cotton candy! (candy floss). Oh lord, that taste of pure cane sugar! It was at the beach and the wind sometimes blew my hair into the airy yet sticky cloud of pink.

Funnel cake - Not since my daughter was young and in 4H, then I'd have one at the county fair, yummm
Animal crackers - I'm not sure, I think I succumbed to a bag of them from the store sometime within the last decade. When I was younger I'd buy them at McDonald's.
Frozen custard (the real deal) - I don't even know what this is!
Candy apple - if caramel apples count, I used to have a few every year, but I don't remember eating any for at least 6 yrs now.
A lollipop - the traditional type - not for a long long time. If tootsie pops count, not sure but maybe 5 yrs ago, tho years go by so quickly nowadays I'm not sure.
Something with whipped cream on it. - ha, if have some strawberries and banana "in" my bowl of whipped cream counts, then this week! :)

I like this thread, but my stomach just growled!

Whipped cream, whenever we’ve been to Costco. I buy the double pack. Unfortunately there was six months between the last Costco runs.

Funnel cake , since the 1990s... my best friend made them all the time.

Frozen custard (the real deal) ~ never
Candy apple - Since the 1960s at school carnivals/Halloween Trick or Treating
A lollipop ~ About 55 years ago. LOL
