Cobras spend their whole lives in tiny, dark dingy, filthy cages so idiots can indulge in what they consider a "Delicacy."
If only this human garbage could spend one day in a cage, forced to lie in their own waste..........
In Vietnam, snakes are a very popular delicacy. The blood is used to make snake wine to drink, which is supposed to be an aphrodisiac and the meat of the snake is used to make several dishes. Snake eggs are also cooked and eaten but probably less so than the meat of snakes.

I have heard of geese that are treated in such a way that their livers get enlarged, so that people can have pate. 🤬
Yes, tubes are forced down Geese's throats several times/day & high-fat food (that they would never eat) is pumped into their stomach. That causes their liver to become fat & enlarged (known as "Foie Gras"). Imagine the suffering for months before they die of liver failure.
Then wealthy people (like James Gandolfini) can eat Foie Gras & destroy their health, like he did. Besides Cocaine & alcohol, he loved Foie Gras, which led to his death from a heart attack at 51.....while his doctors bragged in TV interviews about how they were keeping his cholesterol & blood pressure normal with medications.

Not a fan of snakes but I hate animal cruelty no matter what the animal.

Why is this tolerated in some countries and not in others? Where is PETA in a case like this?
Since there is no law against it, I doubt PETA can do anything.

Far worse happens in all countries, to people , men, women and babies.
Why?
Mankind is not what anyone would call 'good', if they learn the truth about men.
Where it may be illegal to do such abominations, money bribes often open the door and protect the law breakers.
Frankly, when I think about crap like this, I can't get very upset about bad things happening to people.
In fact, sometimes I wish those Covid mortality rates were actually true.

Same in Taipei, Taiwan. Look up Snake Alley in Taipei.

I could be wrong but I believe the French like to do this; in France I mean. Not the French in Quebec, Canada (I hope?)
HAHA - "Not in My Country!"
In Canada, foie gras production is permissible, with Quebec ranked among North America's largest producers. However, according to the Humane Society International, more than a dozen countries have prohibited its production, including Denmark, Finland, Poland, Turkey and the U.K. Canadian foie gras is mostly sourced from Moulard ducks, a cross between Muscovy and Pekin ducks, a breed especially and particularly adaptable for the foie gras process. A decadent concoction of duck foie gras blended with duck fat and Armagnac wine, serve this over crusty bread.

And the more you know, the worse it gets.
1. King Cobras reach a length of 18 ft. Naturally, since they're a "Cash Cow," they're going to keep them as cheaply as possible - barely alive.
They are unable to stretch out in those tiny cages - equivalent to a person spending his entire life curled up in a ball. We don't even treat convicted murderers that way.

2. Reptiles are cold blooded, which means (unlike mammals & humans) they can't control their body temperature internally. In the wild, they regulate their temperature by moving in & out of shade & moving underground when it's too cold. In that basement, they're forced to be in whatever temperature that filthy room is - equivalent to people spending their lives in a small box in a room, naked - at whatever temperature the room is. And (just like humans), animals don't like to be near their own waste; let alone sleep in it. Again, there is NO criminal--regardless of how evil--who is treated that way.

3. Cobras have a strong paternal instinct - you can see how they're coiled around their eggs to protect them; more than many human parents.

Yes, I have been to Taipei and the engineer I was with took me to Snake Alley. They have stores where you can buy a snake, they kill it and the customer can drink it’s blood. How’s that sound? The customer could also eat the meat that would be prepared to their liking. Eggs were also on sale. I had to get out of there. It made me nauseous. I even saw the Black Mamba. Just looking at the snakes gave me the creeps. BTW, they also had women for rent on the same street.

You wouldn’t believe some if the crap they eat over there and in Singapore also. Monkey brains, chicken feet, dog meat on a stick to mention a few. My first day there, they served us a special lunch. It was the plant manager, the assistant plant manager, three engineers and me. They brought this huge smoked fish to the table and they passed it around to each of us who would take their chopsticks and take as much meat off this fish as they wanted. When it came to me, I just passed it on. They looked at me kind of funny, but they had been eating off their chopsticks before taking the fish meat. To me, that was disgusting. I sent out for Colonel Sanders, which they were OK with me doing. But even that didn’t taste the same as here in the U.S. I thought maybe they used some type of different oil to deep fry their chicken.

I did want to add that they did have really good frog legs, turtle soup and prawns.

The whore, her customer and the Cobra should all share the same bed.

I've seen the "Faces of Death" video with the monkey that is trapped in a specially-built table with his head trapped so the people sitting at the table hit him repeatedly with hammers until he dies.
A nuclear bomb would fix these perverts quickly.

I have no problem with women renting themselves out; that's their freedom of choice.
Animals have no choice.

My daughter was invited to attend an international conference in Seoul, South Korea. One evening they had a traditional banquet and she noted that the American delegates, unlike the Europeans, were reluctant to sample many of the dishes. Not sure if she has snake, but there was sea urchin and jellyfish on the table.

As for passing over the fish in preference to KFC, I would be worried about offending my hosts,
