Like when you're done with all the non privacy issues in the waiting room as we discussed, then a tech or some minion puts you in a room, gets a few more bits of info than shuts the door and leaves you, with no other sound but the ventilation system, no clock, no windows. Here it's usually AT LEAST another 15 minutes before the doc comes in, while I'm wondering if anybody is still there or not & I have to restrain myself not to say "It's about da*n time!" when he or she strolls in.
Im at the point where unless they gave me in a gown for some reason, I get up .& open the door a few inches.
Last year they left me on a table after a minor procedure & went to lunch. They all thought someone else was looking out for me. The clinic manager found me and fell all over herself apologizing, but that was the end of that doc!
