The what if ,outliers generally are not a great way to plan around ...that is how people either don’t do well financially because they always have visions of some disaster ready to spring out or they make decisions based on things unlikely to play out .
Everyone knows someone who died fairly young . Yet the odds are quite slim for dying before our 80’s if we make it to age 62 .
The best way to plan is always around what was , what is and what stands a reasonable chance of continuing
