When Was the Last Time You Had a Good Time and What Did You Do?

About two weeks ago the hubby and I went to a casino just over the border into PA. We played the slots for a couple of hours, he won, I didn't but it was fun anyway. We haven't done that in over a year.
Family fun time was last summer when my daughter and her hubby rented a house in North Carolina. We all went crabbing and had so much fun. Spending time with the grandkids is the best.

There is an interesting biker phenomenon called "cruiserface", which describes the bad/tough guy scowl you see many cruiser (i.e., mostly Harley) riders. To look at them, you'd swear they were not having fun given the often angry look of someone who's quite constipated in addition to being pissed off. Cruiserface is a standing joke in the international, adventure riding community.

Yes, a good time can be had most anytime, but fun is carefree and I have not been care free since I was 16. I started my journey into adulthood as a homeless person for a day when I 17 years old. I was very fortunate and am very thankful to the Salvation Army.

Mother's Day. My family went to Churchill Downs in Louisville for the Mother's Day races. It was very windy and raining off and on, but I was in a clubhouse a few floors up and only went outside on the terrace to watch a race. They served breakfast and lunch which was very good. I didn't win anything, but had a great time trying!
 
Well, I enjoyed having cheesecake at the local restaurant today. I have plenty of other complaints about the service but this is not the thread for that! So the last good time I had was today wolfing down some cheesecake!

I really enjoy going to the plant aisles and garden centers. The fragrances and the oxygen is so intoxicating. Buying and bringing the plants home to pot up and plant is my idea of fun. I have to admire and not shop sometimes, it is so tempting to fill the cart!

About a month ago I was elbow deep in potting soil, that's fun for me.🥳
 
We went to our favorite casino a few days ago, and won a little. We usually go at least once a month, but our trips have been a bit limited this past year, due to the pandemic. Now that we've been vaccinated, and things are opening up again, we'll probably get back to our normal number of outings.

That, and getting back to more frequent visits with the kids/grandkids, keeps us happy.
 
Yesterday and today were the last times I had a good time. We went camping and also did some impromptu wine tasting and found a fantastic winery we hadn't ever visited. The unusual thing was it's in a very touristy area but the wines were still amazing.
