When was the last time you went to a movie theater?

About a month ago. I go several times a year at least. My family also go to a movie every year on Christmas day, after the festivities have died down. This year I think we're going to see the latest Star Wars movie.

Last summer, when we went to see the truly excellent "Bohemian Rhapsody." We'd go often but our dog has terrible separation anxiety - it stresses him out to be left alone so we do so as little as possible.

Last January I saw, The Upside with Kevin Hart it was his first dramatic role, he was terrific, I loved the movie! Before that I saw Gravity in 2013!!

After reading these posts, I wouldn't invest in a movie theater. I don't remember how much tickets were the last time i was at a theater. But, today, a ticket goes for $8. And of course, there is financing available, if you want to buy popcorn. That popcorn smell, and the cold air conditioning on a hot summer's day bring back memories.

Hubby and I went a few months ago. We still have movie dates from time to time.:) If there is a movie I want to see and he doesn't, I will go alone. Have done that a few times.

Well, I can't even recall what picture I saw when I went many, many moons ago. They are expensive these days but it would be nice to have that experience again some time.

:):)Jurassic world 2 years ago--not impressed, the time before that it must be 10 years ago-and the time before that was Zulu 1964 never been a film-goer

Star Wars, the fist one back in the 70s. Never enjoyed the indoor theater after my childhood days. Today I'm guessing cell phones go off every five seconds in theaters.

I went there with my grandchildren and children. Was great. I like it. Maybe because they liked it. We love to get together as soon as possible.

New Year's Eve, my bf and I went to see the movie version of Cats. The theater we go to is within walking distance of my apartment, except I cannot walk to it. It is a old time theater that has not been modernized and we love it.

Years ago...think the trouble in general with going to the movies now days is the uncomfortable seats, compared to home (even when they have reclining ones) and the crap shoot one takes to actually get to see a "good one". Not to mention the distance to the restroom and back - lets face it, home gets way move comfortable as we get older. To me its simply about "value received".

Yesterday to see 1917. Very intense movie.

We saw that on Friday night. Wouldn`t have been my choice, but Wes wante to see it.I was bored silly by it-and it wasn`t what he was expecting either. Also, our old Golden Retriever passed away that morning,so we were both grieving and the movie was full of dad soldiers, dead horses and even a dead dog (great 😭 ) I think we both really needed a comedy that night...
