Yesterday, I get a newspaper every day, except Sunday,
the Sunday one is full of adverts for holidays and cruises,
plus, I reckon, a rip-off, they charge plenty for the adverts,
then double the price of the newspaper.
Sometimes I get the free newspapers but, mostly I read online.
I went to school with a little girl whose family lived in the house her mother had been born in. The grandmother lived on the ground floor and my friend and her parents and brother lived on the upper floors and the shared kitchen was in the basement. The house had a little garden and an outside toilet and on the side was a pile of squares cut from the newspapers. I remember going there one day and the whole family were sitting in the kitchen carefully cutting up those squares.
