When you found out that there was no Santa Claus............

By the time I turned 5 , my childhood started to suck .My mother and father , almost got a divorce , they patched things up , then my dad was in a bad car wreck , whiplash no job and the reality of the dark side of life , began for me . When I was in Kinder Garden , the toy Big Bruiser was the big deal for Christmas , I did not get it, even though I asked Santa for it at the church bazaar .I received a tow truck , non battery that I had to push .My dad was back to work , bought a house , but as I advanced in school , I sucked as a student , I was not as cute anymore as I became older and the cold realities of life started to sink in. I mentioned Santa to my new neighbour , she was also in Kinder Garden with me .She told me about no Santa, my mom and dad wanted me to still believe , but the seed of doubt had been planted .

The boy next door told me that Santa was going to bring him a baby sister, but it might be a brother, he wasn't sure. His father always put on the Santa suit before leaving the presents at the foot of the bed, just so the kids believed it was Santa if one of them happened to be awake or pretending to be asleep.

The little fellow had woken up needing the bathroom but couldn't open the bathroom door, (probably because the presents were hidden in there,) so going downstairs he caught his parents, "In flagrante delicto," if you get my drift. Father had his full Santa suit on complete with beard. "Santa is leaving me with your new baby sister, for safe keeping," mother explained. The kid went off for his pee and went back to bed. When his baby sister arrived later that year it reinforced the boy's belief in Santa.
