Where are places you would like to vacation to, on your bucket list

I would like to go back to Ireland one last time to explore areas I didn't get to see.
I met some very interesting people there. No, I didn't go there broadcasting I was Irish,
they knew as soon as I talked I am from America, and they figured out pretty quickly
on their own I have heritage lines there.
 
It's not a bucket list because I don't think I'll ever get there now.. but New Zealand has always been somewhere I wanted to visit.. but from here it's eye wateringly expensive... I wish I'd done it while I was still earning..

I'd really love to go on the transcontinental Train journey through Canada.... again very expensive....
 
My list includes an Alaska cruise, going to Niagra Falls, taking a train thru NW territory/Canada, & visiting the Pyramids. I think I can get to the first 3, not sure bout the last one. Looking for a travel buddy, may wind up joining a travel group.

My favourite Island in the Kingdom of Tonga was Vava U! So many uninhabited Islands just offshore with powder white sand beaches and crystal clear waters. All of them unihabited.
No crowds of tourists there at all.

I'm jealous. Did you charter a boat, and sail to the other islands? I had a friend who went there. He said that at that time the buzz among the locals was that the king decided to lose weight and had taken up riding a bicycle around the Kingdom. I guess no body guards were necessary.

I heard stories about the current king. A bit of a character apparently. He doesn't live in the palace but up in the hills somewhere 🤷‍♂️
Hired a local & his boat to take a few of us around some of the Islands just offshore for the day (not far). Did some cave snorkling as well! Water was so clear. Ideal area for sailing around as well. Saw a few private sailboats around the outer Islands.

Although 90% of people supposedly have bucket lists of things to do or accomplish in their lifetime, I've never thought about it like that. Have accomplished many things, but none were part of a "list". For example my hi tech career was an accomplishment in many ways but never part of a list. I also don't dream, much less plan, about visiting or vacationing at usual world class locations. Have been content to explore natural areas of The West for which there are many lifetimes of worthwhile destinations to experience. In fact, the same could be said for just California.
