I thought it would be fun to share where we all live in the world and tell what kind of animals visit our yards. I'm in awe of people that have amazing visitors !
I live in Wisconsin , in the city and I only have the normal little critters ....squirrels,birds,raccoons,rabbits,foxes,possums and maybe a rare deer sighting. I had a friend in Arizona that had bobcats in her yard !!!!!! Holy cow !!! Go ahead ,make me jealous of all the wildlife you get to see !:)

Feral cats (I hate 'em !), squirrels, possums, lots of local birds ( sparrows, crows, Blue Jays and seagulls ) & raccoons
and lizards.

I'm in Northeastern PA. I've seen turkeys, deer, bears, rabbits, a fox, lots of blue birds, heard an owl, bats. One of the best sightings was an eagle. I don't know why, but I looked up. It was flying about 10 feet above me. It wasn't flapping its wings, they were straight out. It was moving its wing feathers up and down and just glided away.

Here in western Nevada our regular visitors include quail, rabbits, coyotes, groundhogs, ground squirrels, lizards, many different birds, and an occasional cat.

Black bears come around and get themselves into trouble with the Division of Wildlife by breaking into vacation homes where people are dumb enough to leave food behind, or a window open. Raccoons and coyotes are frequent visitors to the neighborhood. A few rabbits, field mice, pine martens. The grey squirrels are always around, and it's fun to watch them chasing each other through the trees. Then there's the stellar jays, robins, mountain chickadees.....dozens of different types of birds and I wish I could identify all of them. It's not uncommon to be treated to a bald eagle sighting while near the lake. Bobcats have been spotted now and then, as well as mountain lions.

I'n in central Florida and my building sits beside a small lake that has a resident alligator. He's small, about 5 ft., and very shy although he will sometimes come up at the edge if something is on the charcoal grill. The lake also has a large turtle or two, a couple of egrets. On land an occasional black snake, lots of squirrels. Who knows what else is in the large wooded area beyond the fence. I don't go there.

We live in a rural area of northern New Jersey. I see rabbits, raccoons, squirrels, chipmunks, and fox. An occasional turtle, some frogs and toads.Voles and mice. We have a huge ground hog living under our shed.Several different kinds of birds, turkeys and buzzards also. Plenty of hawks. Herds of deer every evening eyeing my hostas. Our main attraction is a bear who has been around for several years. He leaves us alone and we leave him alone. So far the arrangement has been working just fine.

We live in central Missouri, on 40 acres of heavy forest land. We have literally dozens of animal species...from squirrels to deer that roam the area. There are even reports of black bears moving into the area, as the Winters becomes less severe, but I haven't seen any...yet. There are so many varieties of birds around that it would take pages to list....everything from huge buzzards, to hummingbirds. We enjoy the "critters", with the exception of the armadillos that have begun appearing in the area as the climate warms...those become "target practice".

I have the same as you have but I'm in North Carolina. I also have Copperhead snakes. I unknowingly ran over one with the lawn mower last year and almost stepped on a baby one near the pool. I've only seen a 5' black snake this year (yesterday) on the Greenway slithering across the path.

I live in eastern Canada, just a couple of miles from the nearest small town, but there are still a lot of deer close to my yard and pesky raccoons visit at night.

A neighbour's cat leaves paw prints on my car quite often but thankfully I have not seen a dreaded snake.

Up here in the High Desert, we have occasionally seen Bobcats from the nearby mountain ranges, but mostly we have foraging Coyotes, Kangaroo Rats, Ground Squirrels, Raccoons, Mojave Greens (rattlers), and Lizards.

In the air we have the bossy, loud, trashcan-raiding Ravens, neighborhood Hawks, and the big Turkey Vultures with their 6-foot wingspans, who we see during their seasonal migratory flights to and from the Desert.

Here in Albuquerque, I have big fat roadrunners, crows, pigeons, the occasional snake (YUCK!) and neighborhood cats. I'm in the city so we don't get a lot of wildlife. Further out near the edges of town they get a lot of coyotes.

Here in the Florida geezer ghetto we have bouncy grey squirrels running around. I did see a racoon in a tree on the edge of the golf course.

When we lived in Arizona coyotes would wander down the streets.

Central Kansas. Home located in a town of about 60,000. In our backyard, we can see raccoon, possum, rabbits, squirrels, and an occasional fox. Our daughter and family live just a few blocks from us. They had a coyote in their backyard a week ago. Not uncommon to see deer in the neighborhood.

Our Black Lab "polices" the backyard, telling the rest of the animal world that area is hers. Still, the squirrels know just how high she can jump and will squawk at her to agitate.

Here in Houston around my condo I see a few squirrels and that's about it. My sister in Louisiana found an alligator headed to her pool. It was mating season and I guess it was the closest water he could find.
