Where do the "Not Delivered" e mails go ?

Over the years I have had several "Not Delivered" e mails.
Are they floating around somewhere? Can someone "Catch" them and use them for sinister purposes?
If the email recipient's address is not correct or valid the email didn't go anywhere, it may be there in your "Sent" folder of the email client.

When an email is not delivered, it can end up in a few different places, depending on the circumstances. Here are some common scenarios:
  1. Invalid Email Address: If you send an email to an address that is misspelled or doesn’t exist, it’s guaranteed to fail. Double-check the spelling and validity of the recipient’s email address before sending your message. Sometimes, you’ll receive a non-delivery notification indicating that the address doesn’t exist1.
  2. Junk Folder: Emails can occasionally end up in the recipient’s Junk folder without their knowledge. If they’ve accidentally flagged your emails as junk in the past, future messages might be diverted there. Ask the recipient to check their Junk folder and mark your email as “not Junk” if necessary1.
  3. Marked as Spam: Many email providers have built-in anti-spam protection. Sometimes, this system incorrectly marks legitimate emails as spam. If your email is getting sent to a business, they might have a security system that detects spam and blocks it. Encourage the recipient to check their spam list and whitelist your address if needed1.
Remember, communication glitches happen, but verifying email addresses and checking spam folders can help ensure successful delivery! 😊 Computer Hope
