Where Do You Hail From

I was born and raised in NY. In my 40s I moved to CA, and am still here. I've been to Canada, Mexico, Italy, Paris and Greece.
I notice that men seem to get around much more than women do, probably bc of the military.
yes that's true but if their moving around due to the military they're not getting to see these countries in the same way as if you're a visitor or have lived there as a resident

Originally from the Hamptons in New York until I was 18. Went to Rutgers University for my undergraduate work and then to Yale for my Juris Doctor or JD. Moved to Washington, D.C. and worked for the DOJ. The politics really drained me, so I left after 8 years and went to work for a large law firm in Dallas before moving to Florida.

Hey TeePee. I was born and raised in Buffalo NY. Moved to Massachusetts when I was 17. Soon after met my wife to be and we have been together ever since. She had a job that sent her traveling all over the world and I flew to meet her on a few of those trips. Mostly to China and Hong Kong. She did a lot of work there. We have also visited the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Canada, Portugal, Spain, Korea and Japan. When we retired we got a motor home and traveled the US for 8 years visiting a lot of states. The only place that I wanted to visit but haven't is Scotland, my grandparents immigrated from there.

Currently in Forida, by way of Arkansas, California, New Jersey, Vermont, and NYC.
Speaking of Mexico... did you happen to make it to La Bufadora? (the blowhole)

A marine geyser located on the Punta Banda Peninsula below Ensenada, Mexico. It is considered one of the largest blowholes in North America, famous for shooting seawater high into the air.
We used to camp there in the '70s. It was spectacular to watch the blowhole spout, the kids would be all over the rocks right there.

Born in High Point, NC. Moved to Tampa, FL when I was 8 and lived there until I was 30, at which time I moved to Miami for my career. Lived in South Florida for 18 years, then moved to Dallas 19 years ago. Still in Dallas and love it.

My career was in the travel industry so I've been fortunate enough to visit 5 continents (Europe, Australia, Asia, North America including Canada and South America). Too many countries to name but each one added to my life experience and each has its own positives. Who would have thought a little Hillbilly from a small town in North Carolina would travel the world?
