Where have you lived or been this winter that didn't have snow?

Other than Florida...where have you lived or been that didn't have snow this winter?

Here in the foothills of North Carolina we have only had a few light dustings of snow.

However in Boone, North Carolina up in the Blue Ridge mountains [that is just a short distance from here] has had 20+ inches of snow.

The last time we had snow on the ground in the San Francisco bay area was probably 1976. We almost never get snow down near sea level but occasionally get it on the hills and mountains around us above 1000 or 1500 feet. The tops of the hills around 1200 feet and above got some snow last week but some winters even that doesn't happen.

My area is used to large amounts of snow but this whole winter has been light dusting that did not last longer then 2-3 days. very mild

February 6,1976 to be exact. Time before that was January 20th,1962. I was 11 and sick as a dog (pnuemonia),so my mom wouldn`t let me go out in it. Was I ever mad!

Now living in Lake County,we do get snow occasionally-last week in fact- but not every year and usually only for a day. That`s enough for me.

It was the first day of my scuba diving class at community college and I thought it was funny that we had snow on the ground that first day. Thankfully we didn't have to get into the pool on the first day.

We have a winter storm warning for this weekend. The mountain skiers are ecstatic even though the lodges are jammed and have gone to reservations only. ⛷️🏂😀

I grew up in Massachusetts, where the winters definitely had snow. Moved to Northeastern PA, in the Poconos next to all the ski resorts, so yup, snow. I yapped about the cold and snow. It was horrible, horrible, I wanted to move to the warmest part of Florida. But I spent 4 years in the US Navy. One year in GTMO, Cuba. It's was 84 in the day, and 72 degrees at night. It rarely rained. In December, guys , dressed in tee shirts, shorts and flip flops were carting Christmas trees home. I just missed the cold and the snow. It wasn't Xmas without them. The climate was beautiful down there, but I missed the seasons changing.

Thank for your service 🇺🇲:)

We briefly saw snow - mostly hail - in 2011. Then the sun melted it. Prior to that it was 1976; I think the snow lasted at least a couple of hours that time.

Lived in Chicago for 18 yrs. Snow is pretty in photos, but otherwise something to be avoided. I do not miss it, nor ever will.

Tomorrow (Feb 6th) it is forecasted to be 65 degrees and sunny. My roses are blooming and the Meyer lemons are ripe.

Not too hot, not too cold. We love the weather in coastal Northern CA.
