Which Do You Use Most - Stovetop, Oven, Microwave or Barbeque?

Breville smart oven with air fryer. It has multiple functions and is large enough to fit 9x13 dishes. Second is the microwave for baked potatoes, rice, hot cereals, hot water for tea, heating leftovers.

It’s between the stove top or toaster oven for cooking. Since I usually double meals so one is leftovers, the microwave gets used lots.

We haven’t had a BBQ in 15+ years.

Stove-top, and oven at least once every day...Microwave constantly on the go..several times a day. Reheating hot drinks .. steaming veggies, cooking rice.., defrosting stuff.. etc...

I use my microwave quite a bit, mostly for heating up. The only things I "cook" in the microwave...I steam my broccoli and cauliflower. I also heat water for my tea and coffee in it. I use my NuWave cooking system quite a bit. I have the oven and the cook tops. I haven't used my gas stove in years. I'm really not a fan of barbequed food.

I don't have a barbecue or a microwave. I use an induction cooktop the most. The Nuwave oven (which uses conduction, convection, and infrared cooking technology) and the Instant Pot almost daily. I cook every day, but depends on what I am cooking as to which one I use.
Katlupe, about the conduction cooking, did you have to buy new pots and pans to use it. I was told that certain pans could not be used. I have been thinking about a small unit for outside to be used along with a barbeque.

Yes, there are new pots that are sold especially for it, but there are others than can be used as well. Cast iron works on them. I have a small graniteware pan and another stainless steel one too. Check your pans and skillets by seeing if a magnet will stick to them. If it does, it will work. I didn't check mine at first and bought an expensive pan (that I rarely use now because it is too heavy for me) and then I learned about the magnet trick and found I had ones that would work.

There is also a diffuser that I had bought to use with other pans that cannot be used on it. I don't use it anymore. I gave it away.

MIcrowave most frequently. My cooking tends to be of the "cordon blech" school. However, with cool weather approaching I am feeling a slight urge to whip up some "watchagot" stew" for which I use a crock pot.

The oven in this house will work as a standard or a convection oven. Haven't tried the convection function.

We use microwave the most, I guess. Used a crock pot yesterday to make chicken and noodles. Grill out on occasion.

It's all good :)

I’ve been using the microwave more and more mainly because many of today’s frozen foods are geared towards microwave cooking. I also use it to heat leftovers.

I rarely use the oven but I do use the stovetop every day.

I use the toaster oven two or three times each week.

I could probably live quite comfortably with a little cobbled together college dorm room kitchen.
