Which is better creamy, or crunchy peanut butter?'

After a lot of taste testing, I'm not sure why, but creamy.

Creamy for sandwiches and crunchy for baking.

I prefer the creamy mixed with honey for sandwiches. When I was a kid in school, we had those for lunch sometimes in the cafeteria. I loved it as my mother would not buy peanut butter or honey. We never knew what sandwiches were until we moved to New Mexico and our friends would have them for lunch. My mother cooked 3 meals a day and a sandwich was never an option. And of course never chips.

Smooth. The Just Peanuts brand, which is exactly as the name suggests. Somehow it seems wrong to have crunch on my toast.

I enjoy creamy on occasion .but barely eat PB so husband likes crunchy so that is what is in the house.

I like both. I make peanut butter cookies with the crunchy then smear creamy peanut butter on top after they have cooled. Yum Yum.

I am a fan of creamy peanut butter; the nuts in the crunchy get stuck in my teeth.

Skippy creamy peanut butter for me., When I tried the crunchy it seemed like I ended up with little pieces of dry peanuts in my mouth. I like to spread the creamy on raw baby carrots with a sprinkle of salt, this sort of creates crunchy peanut butter without the dryness. Maybe I chew to much. lol

Neither is best but most people have a favorite between the two. My favorite is generally nutty, but I prefer creamy if I'm having PB and celery.

We always keep creamy around because when one of our dogs is having allergy difficulties it sooths and coats his throat.

Yup, I got to go with Skippy, too. Still undecided about smooth or chunky. I like to grab a scoop of chunky. The heat from my mouth melts the peanut butter, which tastes so good. Then I'm left with just the crunchies, and they chewed up. Yum....................I'm easy to please.

I like both but usually get the individual serving size containers which at the store were only creamy. I was glad tho when I tried the peanut butter soup people mentioned on this site, creamy was definitely the way to go for soup.
