Which tastes better? Crunchy peanut butter or creamy peanut butter?
And for you, UKers & Aussies? How come you don't eat it?
I have to vote for crunchy. But in a pinch, I'll eat creamy right from the jar.
Every time peanut butter has come up in this forum, Brits wrote that they couldn't understand the American fascination with peanut butter, and they never ate it.
So Aussies like peanut butter.![]()
Do choosy mothers really choose Jiff ??
Jiff and the like tastes like candy.
Not this one! I'm a die-hard Peter Pan fan.Do choosy mothers really choose Jiff ??
fuzzybuddy: I have been eating peanut butter ever since I was a young girl in school. We never had it at home until I asked one of my school friends what was she eating, and she told me 'Peanut butter' I did like the smell of it and immediately told my mother. She bought a small jar of it, smooth, if I remember correctly and fed my sons with it in their growing years. I do buy the crunchy variety as well..Glinda originally posted this in 2015.

Well you know Peter Pan is the peanutiest, and I agree with the ads that it has a stronger peanut taste than Jif or Skippy. Not this one! I'm a die-hard Peter Pan fan.
I put creamy peanut butter directly on hot spaghetti noodles with a bit of salt and pepper and red chili pepper flakes. Sounds awful but I like it. It sort of has the satay feeling to it.Creamy, I use it for my satay sauce dishes as well as on toast.
What a neat idea! I can dig it.I put creamy peanut butter directly on hot spaghetti noodles with a bit of salt and pepper and red chili pepper flakes. Sounds awful but I like it. It sort of has the satay feeling to it.
I'm with you-- just ground up peanuts (although I like it with some salt). I used to buy it from a natural foods store that had a grinder. You could simply turn on the machine to fill up your container and pay, minus the tare weight. They used freeze dried peanuts though.Smooth, though will buy crunchy if that’s the only option. I will only buy natural - no sugar, no salt, absolutely nothing added. It is a pain having to stir it. Worth it though.
Asian Peanut Sauce on noodles or green onion pancakes is awesome! Hot, spicy and garlicky yum.I put creamy peanut butter directly on hot spaghetti noodles with a bit of salt and pepper and red chili pepper flakes. Sounds awful but I like it. It sort of has the satay feeling to it.
