Which is better for the tooth cavity

Have it pulled. One less you have to worry about. I've seen many very old people who have had extensive work done through the years and then find their teeth are falling apart. The sad part is that it is risky to have dental work done at that age.
One women couldn't even sit in the chair for any period of time because her back was so bad.
I don't mean to frighten anyone but I've seen this when I worked for public health. Just my opinion.

If it’s a back tooth and not visible it might be simpler to remove it.
I’m terrified of dentists and I have to go to a “gentle dentist” - that is, one where you can get a general anaesthetic if you need work done. It’s better if I’m asleep and don’t know about it. I recently had seven fillings replaced while asleep. And a while ago I had an implant done. I can sit through a clean and check but anything else, knock me out!

I had an abscess that resulted in swelling. The dentist gave me an antibiotic and the swelling slowly disappeared. A week later a root canal was done painlessly and the tooth was capped to strengthen it. I wanted to save it because many were removed previously.
