Celebrate with dark chocolate..."

joking aside??? for me, it's a religious one. try to obey God in all things. Mostly, I fail. But I do try.
I guess that boils down to the basic stuff...try to be kind, honest, etc. etc. etc.
Living with a lot of chronic pain, seems to have made me enormously pragmatic, rather than looking at anything higher...but I do like to hold out those ideals and try...
So, yesterday, my neighbor is outside with his 2 year old. The 2 year old is looking rather serious. I ask him what is wrong. He says that they are trying to track down the ice cream truck...that they heard the music in the distance.
I see them walking away and it looks like they are not going to get anywhere near that ice cream truck.
Then, I remembered I had some ice cream sandwiches in the freezer.
Thus ensues, the hysterical scene of me hobbling down the street, at my maximum speed (1 mph), yelling at them about the ice cream sandwiches, and waving the box in the air...
I finally catch up to them, out of breath and all my joints sore...
"Hey, we have some ice cream sandwiches...he can have one!!!"
The parent looks at me with exhaustion and utters...."he only likes soft ice cream...."
Like I say..I try...and I mostly fail...(usually a lot more dramatically than in this ice cream example).
