Which of these could you do without the most? Which do you need the most?

Not necessarily, had a simple flipper ($35) phone only, I self-destruct when texting. In a weak moment got a smartphone on a real good deal, shame on me, sorry ever since. Turn the darn thing off for days on end. My kids know to call their mother if they need to talk to me. Tell them I read my Emails. Only now need my phone for the darn 6 digit access code.
If you subscribe to the internet, you do not have to chose between internet, phone, or TV. With internet, you have access to the other 2.

Just because it's there doesn't mean I have use it. My ISP provider doesn't offer a phone plan it's DSL not cable and I don't have a landline.. I would trash the cell I have now if the wife ok'd it. She makes me keep it for emergencies. My smartphone also has NO data, but does have a power on/power off button. I usually put it in the same box that holds my useless Kindle. Does anyone need one?

True. All those choices are yours....well, except the one your wife made for you.

I never, watch T.V. Netflix and other movies, I watch on my desktop.
Hardly ever use my phone for calls ... that's cell/land-line. I communicate mainly via email, and very rarely,
via Fb.
Oddly I use my landline more often than I use my Iphone to make calls... I whatsapp and email on my computer... ..I take calls on my Mobile, but rarely make them. I seem to use my Iphone more for taking Photos.. my poor beloved Fuji lies unloved in the drawer

I don't plan on doing without any of them. I need the TV to watch Buckeye football in the fall, other times not much. Need to phone for making doctor appointments, etc. And need the interwebz/chromebook to waste time on social media (phone screen is too small for these old eyes.)

How about I give up something I never use instead, like maybe the oven...

I use my phone mostly for listening to podcasts and audiobooks, which I might miss if I did away with my phone but I'd find another way.
I don't watch TV and don't own a TV.
I stream movies and videos, and get audiobooks and ebooks over the internet, so I'd miss that the most.

Yep, I can text from my desktop and could do VOIP / video calls, if I wanted to(which I don't). I do like my new Pixel 7 pro cellphone, but I hate talking on the phone. Hey, it's just a handheld computer, what's not to love?
Ditto for all the same reasons

I could do without any of them. But since I have a choice, I choose to not do without any of them.
I can imagine that some far off day that all of what we feel is indispensable now will be replaced by
other things that will also seem indispensible at that moment too. But I could be wrong.

Need and use, land line, TV, internet. I use smart phone to adjust my hearing aids, get weather forecast and text my "kids" ages 59 and 61.

I don't know the number of my smart phone and I never give it out. 98% of the calls on the land line are trash. If the caller ID doesn't show the NAME of someone that I want to talk to, I don't answer. I have received emails where they say they will text me, they can't comprehend that there is no texting on a land line.

I'd say goodbye to the internet. What started out as something fun and convenient has turned into a monster that makes people hate each other and this has spilled over into real life. The past two and a half years never would have happened without technology shutting down the world and monitoring everyone's location to see if they were obeying the rules while isolating people and making them afraid of normalcy. It has caused the greatest transfer of wealth in history while putting many out of business while throwing the world into poverty and chaos facing choices like heat or eat. Eventually people will wake up to this fact but will it be too late? With the internet I feel like an animal with a radio frequency collar attached to my neck. I hate that.

I'd keep TV because I enjoy some sports and an occasional movie. I have a car and drive to work, buy groceries in a store and whatever else I may need. I can see my family friends and neighbors and have conversations with diplomacy and joy where there is no fear of reprisal or censorship. I'd just like to see people prosperous, in control of their own lives with hatred playing no role in our everyday lives anymore.

I can manage without all of them. There is still the odd call-box about, including one inside the Post Office. I don't watch tv much and although I find the internet useful, I can live without it.
