White sox on guys- Scourge or fashion statement?

My husband never wore ( wears ) anything but Black socks.. he buys a dozen or so pairs every few years , exactly the same type, and that way he can have them loose in the drawer, and just grab a pair out in the morning, even in the dark without getting odd socks.. and when one sock gets a hole in it, he can toss it an still have matching pair..

My parents bought me and my 3 brothers nothing but white socks, still only color I like. They would buy 15-20 pair every time. White goes with anything, with 4 boys losing & staining them daily it was the only solution. Never seemed to be an issue. Hasn't warped any of us to date. Just dump them loose in a basket next to the dryer.

I wear white socks all the time - except when I'm suited up. Then I wear color appropriate socks with the suit.

I really don't care for the "no sock" look. Nope.....

My husband has to wear socks; there’s no way he’d let you see his toes and be thankful for that. In the summer he wears those low socks in his sandals or shoes, if he’s wearing shorts.

My bad about warped comment. My sister would get the colorful 'anklets' with frilly tops. Of course none of us argued. Another thing I never wear sandals or clogs an orthopedic doctor told me, they are the worst things a senior can wear for stabiliy & stumbling.

Why the hate on socks with sandals? Shoes hurt my feet, unless I buy them about 2 sizes too big (which isn't easy, because I have big feet). So I usually wear sandals.

If I don't wear socks, the friction rips the skin off my feet. What do you suggest?

I have one pair of black socks in the back of the drawer, all the rest are white.

Shoes are loafers. Don't own sandals, flip flops or boots.

Oh, don't tell that to any Seattleite. Birkenstocks just cry out for mis-matched hand-woven colorful socks from Ecuador, especially when it's raining. If at least one sock depicts a llama wearing a sombrero, you get extra style points.

How many of you women have false eyelashes? Botox lips? Silly-cone titties? High-heel shoes? Face fillers? Plucked, painted, or tattooed eyebrows? Blue or whatever eye shadow? Plastic fingernails? Capped teeth? Dyed hair?

I wear white socks with or without sandals and if you stare you are going to get stared back.

If you mean about the lumps, my dearest friend on the planet is a radiation oncologist and I got it from him talking about those palpable lumps for the past 25 years to the point where I automatically see them on people now.
