Every thing except the floor carpet, usually in green as that was Mom's favorite color.
I was always so careful not to get that stuff dirty or too wet that it matted down.
Even put towels down to step on, so I never saw the practical side of it myself with
an OCD mom following me around.
I remember those from when I was very young, still living at home with my parents. I feel sure all that plush fabric would be hard to keep clean. I want smooth surfaces I can just wash off easily, and no carpet in the bathroom.
Yes, I have a memory of that bathroom. I would not like that much carpet or toilet covers. It was the fashion back then as I remember with my Mother's bathroom.
That’s almost exactly what my Mother’s bathroom looked like in her little retirement apartment.
I can’t stand any of it!
For me, kitchens and bathrooms are work rooms, they are hard enough to clean and maintain without any frills or the clutter of all sorts of bottles filled with who knows what..
I prefer the wide open uncluttered spaces that you find in most motel and hotel rooms
Yuk! We had something similar when I lived at home with my parents. It wouldn’t be so bad unless you had males who use the toilet standing up. Unfortunately we had 3 standing males and a mother who wasn’t too into housework. It got washed maybe every few months. Maybe!
I did....a long time ago. Then I got hip to how germy that carpeting and toilet covers can get. My carpeting, the last thing standing, started to smell musty so it had to go. That "fad" has fallen out of fashion for sure.
I remember going over to a friends house and it looked just like the OP pic. It didn't end there. The toilet paper was blue as was the water in the toilet. I was too afraid to touch anything in there, so I would "hold it" until I got home.
