Who has more fun, blondes or brunettes?

I have been all over the color spectrum except black hair.
Born brunette, tried dark auburn a few years which suited my skin tone.
Got talked into blonde when I was 18 and when my grandfather saw it he said
"Oh looks nice but you're missing one thing"

I asked what,
he looked me square in the eye and said "Your Lamp post"
I took it back to brunette the next day.

When my hair began showing white roots I then at 57 began bleaching it
until I realized what that did to my hair, then just let it grow grey naturally.
Which years I had to most fun? All of them but it just so happens I loved the
years I was Auburn as the best in my life. It was not due to the color, just life.

Most of us haven't dated blond men because only 2% of the world's population is blonde as adults.
Take my husband. His mother said that of all her 12 children he was the blondest, almost white, as a child. And yet, five of his grown-up sisters are blonde now while he had medium brown hair? Hmmm? Yes, most of the blonde women you see bleach their hair. The color box may call itself a rinse or a shampoo but if it didn't have some sort of bleaching ingredient, usually ammonia, it wouldn't lighten your hair.

I started out as blonde baby, was dark brown by 18 and stayed that way until I started to gray, at which point I went blonde because the brown dye looked harsh and showed the white coming in at the part like a skunk stripe.

I had the most fun and attention from men when I was a brunette, but that was probably because I was young and slender, but when I went blonde everyone liked it. I have light blue eyes and very fair skin so I actually look more "natural," as a blonde.

The main difference I noticed, and this still happens, is young men pull up next to me in traffic to check me out. This would be flattering if I didn't catch the chagrin on their face when they see how old I am. We both laugh, though.
