Who inspires you ?

I don’t mean celebrities or famous people just every day folk, is there anybody who inspires you ?

Today I’m visiting an ex neighbour, 96 years old and moved into a residential home a few years ago, she is fabulous ! beaten cancer twice, cared for and lost her husband of 60 years, and not in the best of health but always has her hair looking great, make up with matching clothes, bag and shoes, she’s interested in everything and everybody, and retains a marvellous sense of humour, it lifts my heart just to sit and chat with her for a while

Our friends who are 96 and 95 been married 74 years and still dancing ( ballroom ) 3 times a week
We only dance twice a week and we always swap a dance with them.

My mom. 94 years old this summer and still goes like the Energizer Bunny. We try to get her to slow down a little but she says she only has another 11 years and she needs to get a lot done....LOL.

My husband. He's always so upbeat, positive and good natured. He does so much for everyone from his mother to our youngest grandchild, never complains about anything.

I continue to be inspired by my Mom and Dad who passed years ago. When I feel down or have a problem I think to myself,what would they do or say? Many times it helps me make a decision that I can feel good about knowing they would have done the same thing.

My youngest daughter. She’s so positive all the time, always smiling and friendly. I’m always in wonderment and amazement of her. So, so proud of her.

My husband. Not that he’s always so upbeat, positive and good natured because he’s not. He inspires me because he’s always looking out for his family. He is always thinking of us and putting us first. He lets me know that he worships and adores me . I don’t know why or how but I love him for it. He teaches me about love and loyalty everyday while making me laugh. He is definitely my BETTER HALF. :heart:
