Who is done cleaning?

And me.....I have steam-cleaned the downstairs floor; (I live in a 3-storey house;) cleaned the kitchen surfaces, and tidied up.....enough for one day!
nobody sees it anyway!

The thunderstorm has knocked out my TV, so I am having to watch Sherlock 3 that I recorded. Shame!
however, it is dark now....so I can relax!

Hi Ladies & Gents, I'm one of those multi-tasking cleaners. Every time I move around the cabin, I'm either picking something up or putting something away. Bending is a problem, so my floors are always in need. I make all of us wear socks. Dirty socks means a cleaner floor.

I'm never done cleaning, and I'm not even a clean freak, lol. Before I retired I had the foolish dream of having so much time that every closet, drawer, etc. would be in perfect order. There would be no dust on the furniture, and everything would be spotless and in its place...then reality hit!

Seems as soon as I clean one thing, then get to something else, the first thing is filthy again. With an open field behind me, blowing in dust all the time, and the dog bringing in mud and snow on his paws, and branches, leaves and twigs in his beard...I give up! Of course the cat doesn't help, he recently knocked over a plant and now there's soil all over, and I have to move the stereo cabinet and vacuum there too. Maybe it's God's way of reminding me that I needed to clean back there anyway, lol. :p I do bits here and there when I'm in the mood, and don't stress over it. ;)

I really don't stress over it, SB....I pretend I have all the time in the world, and once it is done it needs doing again, so why bother?
I really don't live in a pig-sty.....

Ooops, I left out the word feel. Maybe I should just view today. Hubby decided I should get back on the pain pill schedule. The last three days I have skipped them till after 7:pm., and BP is going up to high. Just tell me to lol, which I used to think meant leave on line.

Don't be silly, Ina , and no I don't feel guilty at all!

Don't drop off the painkillers too fast...it can cause problems.

All cleaning is done for today....

As long as we're alive and kicking we're also shedding skin cells, which makes up the majority of "dust". Having pets will, of course, add to our cleaning burden, as will the outside environment.

Cleaning is one of those Zen things I actually like to engage in - I can do my meditation as I clean.

I'll make someone a good little wife someday.

But you snore.......

Im a guy who does all the house cleaning,I do it so quickly it has to be done over again the next day.
Obviously it takes more then just a hand held vacuum cleaner walking thru the house.

I wouldn't stress over cleaning too much because cleaning is so repetitive. You no sooner finish than it's time to start over again. Who needs it?
