Who is the last family member you talked to (or friend)🙃

I am. so glad I talked to 3 of my family on the phone this week. My older sister, my brother M, and just today talked to my brother J. Both my brother and his wife have been fighting Cancer for going on 3 years. It was really good talking to J today. He can really chat a lot!

Who have you talked to or spent time with ?

My daughter... who felt the need to remind me that I'm ancient and said, "Mom, would you believe that anyone born in 2000 is now more than a quarter of a century old?" After I mentally checked her math because I *knew* she made a mistake (hehe not really, but golly!) I had to give her "that look" that only moms can do.

talked with my oldest brother on Monday, talked with my middle brother on Tuesday. Will call my DIL on Sunday, since it's her birthday.

I didn’t talk to my brother but did text him and emailed him about a gift he sent me. Here is what he sent. He knows I love old trains.

I also talked with my sister in law on her birthday. I definitely put effort into keeping in touch with family. They are an important part of my life.

My brother, texted him actually. I'm making LuLu burgers next week and I asked him if he had any peda buns laying around. Need 4 but I only scored 2.

The last person I talked to was my Honorary Son #3. Just got off the phone with him. But also my granddaughter and BFF called me this morning. My youngest grandson stopped by to drop off the suit he's wearing tomorrow, as did my future DIL with my son. So I did a lot of talking with loved ones today.

Both of my parents are gone since several decades. Other family members don't exist. To relatives (cousins) is no contact anymore. Either they dumped me or I dumped them.

My Oldest and youngest sons and youngest gr-daughter. My oldest calls me
at least once a week and we talk over an hour each time (usually more). His humor of the
irony of life has me laughing near all of it. Bless his heart, he sure gives me so much joy.

My gr-daughter is taking piano lessons so gives me private video concerts when she is
happy with a new song she learned.

My son's partner.... I see her every morning when she leaves their dog here for me to look after. Also saw youngest granddaughter last night when she came to collect said dog. I'm fortunate that both sons live in the same town as me and I see them, their partners and my grandchildren regularly.

I called my cousin a couple of days ago to see how they're making it in this freezing weather. He still works, so we don't talk often, but I figured he would be home due to icy roads (he was). Cousins are the only family I have now. We aren't close, but it's nice to talk now and then.

I either talk to or text a lot of my family quite often and a few of us get together most Sunday mornings for breakfast. I talked to my younger brother yesterday on the phone and I normally see him two or three times a week.
